The Tail Flap
The tail flap design is unique in
that it has a special cut-away tail-flap with much more
material and gathering to allow for total freedom of
movement for horses with a
high tail
carriage such as the
Arabian
Breed.
The Front
The front end is designed so that the rug
is kept on the horse by the neck area alone, which is
placed further forward on the neck, in front of the
withers, so it will not keep slipping back and held there
at the chest area.
The Chest Area
The chest area is adjustable by 2
inner Velcro strips that attach themselves to allow for a
broad or narrow chested horse. A single buckle on the
outside, placed a third of the way down, secures the
outside, but provides enough room for the horse to bend and
graze. This prevents the rug from being too tight in the
chest area which can restrict the forward movement of the
front legs at the point of the shoulder.
The Front Leg Vents
The front leg vents are placed
much further forward than standard horse rugs, using more
material and extending almost up to the padded neck,
enabling freedom and no restriction of leg movement.
